This lawn was weed and moss ridden. After removing the top six inches we began adding the Island’s best Super-soil!
The soil slinger saves our backs from hundreds of wheelbarrow loads.
Once the soil is slung in, there is still LOTS of work to be done!
It’s important to rake the new lawn smooth and level. You don’t want big dips developing months later. Rolling the lawn is essential to eliminate these dips by packing the soil tight.
It’s important to have a generous covering of premium seed.
5 weeks later the lawn came in great!
Check out the dark lush colour! This is without fertilizer 🙂
Watering is CRUCIAL to the seed germination. The seed cannot be allowed to dry out. Depending on the time of year, we recommend 4-6 times a day for 5-7min at a time.
